I have been professionally learning and practicing drawing since high school and have built strong drawing skills on catching people’s motions, features, and facial expressions. In addition to drawing people in real life, I have never stop creating my own characters and storylines, which enables me to develop my own style and ability to draw people without models in front of me.
To my point of view, it’s really important to keep every character special, and the very first step to reach this goal is that you make sure characters in your works are all different in looks. I have spent lots of time learning different people’s faces and try to find the feature of each individual face. This method prevents me from drawing all my characters in the same faces.
